i assume it has the typical ford starter relay mounted to the fender? do you have B+ at the S terminal and I terminal when cranking?

No primary drive at the coil. Think it was a mechanical fp. But either way that wasn't the issue. All fuses were good. Relay was good.
TBI
What would cause no drive and no fuel?

no CKP sig.
bad TFI module like so many Fords after it? or bad CKP sig inside the distributor? (this does use the ICM that attaches to the distributor, right?)
ie:

No. This has the seperate ICM "Duraspark" box on the fender.
CKP sig into box is good.
Out of the box I had drive to the coil.
Not making it.
Two connectors with lots of corrosions on the output side of the box was the fix
Easy one
